Dog Behavior Modification Curriculum
- Management Is Key: Our certified dog trainers show you how to manage your situation so that you stop the current behavioral issues and prevent future dog behavioral issues from happening. Managing your dog's environment is vital to fixing your dog problems.
- We address a wide range of dog behavioral issues, including reactivity, demand barking, resource guarding, dog on dog aggression, dog-on-human aggression, fear issues, insecurity, separation anxiety, jumping, humping, chasing, predation, and more
- During your lesson your trainer will teach you specific behaviors and exercises you need to eliminate your dog's problems, get them to listen and be calm and well-mannered.
- After your lesson, it's up to you the dog owner to follow through and train consistently every day until your next dog training lesson.
- All behavior modification classes come with obedience training. Our behavior experts teach you 10-15 obedience & loose leash walking behaviors. You'll need these behaviors in situations where you need control over your dog without grabbing, forcing, yanking, or pulling your dog.
- We provide private videos & training plans that show you exactly which behaviors you should be working on each week.
Dog Behavior Modification Details
- Each dog training lesson lasts for 1 hour and we hold 1 class per week for 6 or 8 weeks. We recommend the 8 week course for severe dog problems.
- Please do not feed your dog before class. We will train in class with dog food.
- You must have a clicker and a treat pouch for class. Please purchase a hard muzzle if your dog trainer instructed you to get one. Also, do not carry your treats in plastic bags.
- Behavior Mod. lessons are conducted in the privacy of the dog owner’s home and as we progress, your classes can be held outside or in an area where the behavior problems are occurring.
- Private dog training service area: We travel to Leonardtown, MD., Lexington Park, MD., California, MD., La Plata, MD., Waldorf, MD., Prince Frederick, MD., Lusby, MD., and surrounding cities. St. Mary's County, Calvert County, & Charles County, MD.
- We accept ALL temperaments. Aggressive Dogs, Reactive Dogs & Fearful Dogs Included.
- We Do NOT Allow Prong, Shock or vibrate collars, Slip leads, Choke chains, Martingale, or Head Halters in Class
